Hello and welcome!

I'm Malek, a passionate English tutor specialised in Adult education with a strong focus on communication and confidence-building.

I have been teaching English professionally since 2012 in a wide range of settings across Libya, Tunisia, Dubai, Spain, and Finland. This international experience has shaped me into a culturally sensitive educator who teaches with a strong multicultural and inclusive mindset.

Throughout my career, I have taught in secondary schools, language institutes, worked as a corporate language coach, and provided private lessons to both individuals and groups; helping learners at all levels grow in confidence and skill.

Currently, I teach English to adults at the Helsinki Adult Labour College, where I specialise in communication, confidence-building, and general and practical language use.

In addition, I am currently completing the CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), one of the most globally recognised qualifications for English teachers. This is part of my ongoing commitment to professional development and lifelong learning; ensuring that my methods stay effective, fresh, and aligned with the highest teaching standards.

I believe that my solid foundation in adult education, combined with over a decade of hands-on experience and a passion for helping people connect through language, makes my teaching both impactful and enjoyable.

I use a communicative approach that puts real-life language use at the heart of every lesson. Whether you are learning General English, preparing for an exam, improving your Business English communication, or simply aiming to speak more fluently and confidently, I am here to support you every step of the way.
