Hello! I am an environmental scientist and educator with over 30 years of experience working in a variety of educational settings and in different professional sectors. I have been teaching languages and science courses for a long time.
I am usually on the west coast of Canada (an island called 'Vancouver Island'), so classes with me are usually done via WhatsApp and Google (or other platform if desired).

Classes are customized to every student's needs. Think of me of a 'facilitator' - a 'guide' to another language and the culture. I first check where the person is at, which are the weakest areas, and then together we design a 'road map' for the weeks/months ahead.

In general (with adults), I use the 'flipped classroom' methodology: I provide you with material to study (IF you improve grammar etc) and fun assignments (like writing fun stories, or reflecting on videos on different topics; I then look over your work and help you learn from mistakes).

Like with everything in life: The more effort you put into it, the more you will get. I usually see improvements in about 3 months.
