Mariana Andreea Soimaru

Hello my name is Mariana Soimaru but my students call me Andreea.

I have a degree in Social and Legal Science with an area of expertise in Business and Management
Education, certified in Spain.

Currently i work as an English teacher at Pinar del Rey School in extracurricular activities, homework support and reinforcement of English and I also work as a private English and Spanish tutor.

I have been teaching English since 2006 and Spanish as a second language since 2015. I have lived in Spain for almost 12 years and I worked in England for 3 months as a teaching assistant.

I prepare my classes based on my notebooks, text books, internet activities. I try to emphasize the four pillars of language learning, such as reading, writing, speaking and listening all at once. I do so that my students are continuously practicing their skills. We also learn English based on songs, movies and games to improve translation and listening skills.

I give classes for students who are preparing for the Cambridge exams : KET, PET and FIRST,
and DELE exams A1, A2 . I teach translation from Spanish to English, conversation, vocabulary, writing for specific purposes.

I also give intensive summer classes in June and July, the duration of the intensive course is between five or ten days, 2 hours a day , online classes or face-to-face classes.
Classes - Monday to Friday from 10.00 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
