Marie Coleman

I am a native English teacher from London with experience of working with people of all ages and levels. So, what inspires you to teach? I hear you ask. I have a love of language and I also gain satisfaction from helping others realize their potential.

Students often describe my lessons as interactive, engaging and fun. This is achieved through using books, songs, videos, games and role-play. As the classes are all about you, you are more than welcome to bring any resources or content that you feel will aid you in your learning. I work with your individual needs and style of learning to help you progress quickly.

I encourage independent study by giving you practical exercises to complete at home, and I also provide resources that can be used to help you practice, this applies to reading, writing, listening and speaking. Through frequent testing , we will gain clarity in regards to where your strengths lie , and what areas need to be worked on.

If you would like to improve your fluency, my classes also aim to help you develop comprehension and grammar, which will impact positively on your confidence and ability to hold a conversation.
