I teach every day because I believe that knowing a second language makes my students better in learning other subjects. When they read a story or a book in its original language, they understand the author better and they can express their ideas and arguments with more precision and effect. Also our modern worls need professionalswho can have international contacts, have critical mind, and have the desire to improve constantly themselves and the world around them.

Nowadays and in my future career I plan on teaching various types of students as well as share my teaching experience through the professional training with various classes of language teachers. Therefore, I use various teaching techniques in order to keep mu students engaged. I design the warm-ups and the activities in different forms, such as Q&As, online games, songs or scenes from a movie. Those are essential for the beginning of the lesson so that the students connect their previous knowledge to the new content and start interacting with the language from the first moments of my class.

Also during the instructional and practical part of my lessons I follow the rule of 20/80 which means that my explanations are taking 20% of a lesson time while my students practice application of their skills for the rest of the time. Finally, I always teach my students how to maximize their language practice outside the classroom. For example, switch their phone and browser to English, play certain educational or video games, sing their favorite songs with the lyrics and participate in conversations with foreigners by chat or in person.
