Matilda Van Den Bosch

The main goal of my teaching is to disseminate knowledge about natural ecosystems’ value for human health and well-being and engage students to learn more about environmental impacts on human health.
In general, I have an interest in teaching in the area of environmental impacts on human health, but I also have experience and interest in educating on research design and methods, as well as scientific writing skills for both undergraduate, graduate, and PhD-students.
I have been active in developing new courses, both undergraduate and graduate, and also have experience in curriculum development for master programmes.
In my teaching, I blend lectures with individual and group learning assignments. From both the public health and environmental perspectives (in which I teach) it is essential to raise awareness of ethical issues among students and I include aspects of equality, gender, and sustainability into all my curricula.
