I would like to apply for any English teaching vacancies that may be available with your company. I believe my qualifications, skills and experience would make me an excellent candidate for the English teaching position.
I have completed a 4 week TEFL teaching qualification. I am a dynamic teacher and believe that students learn best while participating in fun, communicative activities. I have taught a variety of different levels and abilities, from elementary level through to upper intermediate students. I am comfortable teaching groups as well as one on one class sessions in addition to business English classes. I have excellent interpersonal skills and am able to relate well to a wide variety of people from different cultural and social backgrounds with patience and empathy as shown by my previous employment as a personal trainer. This involved me interacting and managing relationships in a professional and goal oriented manner with international clientele of all ages. I was able to achieve this through maintaining an encouraging and positive learning environment for my clients in an exciting team-like environment. Also included among my past responsibilities were running all aspects of my own business such as, but not limited to, evaluations, scheduling, reports and handling payment or sales. I have had the the wonderful opportunity to expand on these skills and the skill that I have learned in the schools to become a better teacher. Through my added experience teaching intensive courses, private courses and business courses to groups and individuals of all ages I have gained much experience in class management and lesson planning.
As a motivated individual, I am able to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations in a positive manner. I also have an excellent sense of humour and an enthusiastic attitude, and work well in a team.
