With a Master’s degree in Teaching, TEFL certification, and extensive experience working with ESL students, I am confident in my ability to support students in achieving their language-learning goals.

I believe that learning is a unique journey for each student. I always keep in mind your interests and goals when instructing language. Relevance is important and I am here to listen to your needs.

My background includes tutoring international students in academic English, developing curriculum for beginner adult learners, and providing personalized instruction in various subjects, including Literature and Economics. I also taught secondary school for five years instructing Spanish classes, levels 1-5. I developed this foreign language curriculum as well as numerous supplementals such as games, activities and projects.

I love language and am obsessed with finding connections between multiple languages and using them to build a deep understanding of whatever your target language may be.

If it interests the learner, I like to use interactive notebooks to supplement our language journey. Having tactile experiences to complement our oral and auditory experiences is important. If you are creative and artistic we can use those strengths to create your notebook. If you are numbers and maths oriented we can structure grammar into formulas and create charts. This is YOUR language experience, it should work for you.

My commitment to diversity in education and my proficiency in Spanish enable me to create engaging, inclusive learning experiences. Additionally, my familiarity with educational technology allows me to teach both in-person and online effectively.
