Nicola Crowley

I am a qualified teacher who has completed doctorate study in public policy Economics, program evaluation from University College Cork and Coventry University. I have a masters in teaching and translation in linguistics and modern languages. I have a base degree in Economics, accounting and classical studies (Latin, Italian). I have lived in France, Italy and Spain. I have worked doing private lessons from primary, secondary to university students across a varied and wide span of subjects.
I have taught in Italy for 10 years in a variety of state and private schools, professional and companies as a mother tongue English teacher. I also worked with National Agency for Literacy for Adults for literacy and numeracy as well as Special Needs work with children and teenagers. i currently work online as a communications and customer service tutor, assessor and examiner. l have worked with the Disability support office as a tutor as well as University college Cork Plus for third level and secondary level students.

In languages, i took French, Latin and Italian at leaving cert and took a DELE exam in Spanish. I believe in exam focused preparation with strong vocal and aural success. writing is developed through past exam papers. in business subjects, i take a practical repetitive approach to generating confidence and motivating partial self answering.
