Hello!
My name is Nicolas Martinez. I am a Spanish instructor, and I want to tell you a bit about my education and the methods I use to teach.
I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Literature and decided to complement my education with a master's degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
Regarding the methodologies, I believe if you want to learn a language, it's because you want to be part of the community of those speakers. That's why I like to use texts, videos, movies, and clips made for Spanish speakers so you (as a learner) take in all the practices, accents, culture, and habits, and in the future, you can make that part of your identity.
Speaking about materials, I think the future is now, so I like to use technological platforms to play with different perspectives and develop more favorable learning.
To finish, I'd like to tell you that I want to speak to you, and if you like my perspective on teaching, we can talk about classes!
