I am a British native with over nine enjoyable years of private one-to-one English language tutoring experience.
To promote and maintain a comfortable learning atmosphere which (crucially) builds confidence, I take a more natural, holistic approach to sessions which I always aim to make fairly loose and enjoyable - often centring around the student’s personal preferences.

In case you were wondering, I possess a clean and easy-to-understand English accent!
I welcome new students who are open-minded, responsible and serious about taking regular English practice sessions. Given my methods and type of experience, my service is mostly suited to university students and adults.
The sessions are based primarily on conversation and reading practice, along with some emphasis on weekly homework reviewing (e.g. vocabulary/grammar/exam practice exercises). Although I highly recommend regular homework exercises (e.g. reading articles, writing practice, watching videos and taking notes), it is ultimately the student's choice whether this is undertaken or not.
Conversation topics can be as far, wide and deep as a student wishes to explore. I am more than happy to dive into areas outside of mainstream thinking and latest trends - in fact, I encourage it! Open-mindedness and greater awareness leads to greater opportunities in personal growth and development. Critical thinking and the ability to question what is often lazily taken for granted as ‘normal’ is essential now more than ever.
I firmly believe that once a student has some of the more essential basics of English under their belt, they should also be given the opportunity, if they desire, to practice verbally expressing themselves beyond the standard, typical topics of conversation.
NOTE: My Spanish is still not great, so very little Spanish is spoken during my sessions - which, in fact, many of you reading this will be pleased to know! As a result, I recommend that prospective students have a reasonable level of English language knowledge before starting sessions with me - at least A2/B1 level (or an approximate equivalent) and above is usually sufficient.
Please do not hesitate to contact me (in English or Spanish!) about prices or any other questions you may have. I have solid Spanish native support around me so initial communication and quality translation is not a problem for me.
I look forward to hearing from you!
