I am based in Madrid Capital.

I have a Phd from the USA and an MA from Oxford, England


I have both a TEFL Certificate and a Teaching Certificate, PGCE

I have taught at all levels. I was awarded a Distinguished Teaching Award from the British Council

I have taught at such institutions as RTVE. the Bank of Spain, and several Spanish Ministries.

I offer classes via Skype or Zoom in these pandemic times.

I have a very high rate of Cambridge Proficiency student success, around 85%, which, given the difficulty of that examination, is better than a high average. This is because I attack the examination with an in-depth knowledge of the Cambridge mind-set, and of their twisted requirements.

I was instrumental in inserting the Advanced Exam. between what was erstwhile First Cert. and the rigours of Proficiency.
