Pilar Utrilla

Hello everyone! I'm Pilar, and I'm thrilled to be here today. As a child, I struggled with English, and believe it or not, I had to work really hard to get to where I am now. That journey sparked a passion in me for teaching English, and today, I'm fluent, living abroad, and ready to share my knowledge.

I've been a primary school teacher for many years, with experience that spans across continents. I've taught in London for over 6 years, worked as a tutor in British schools in Brazil, and now I'm enjoying nearly two years here in Sydney.

What I love most about my job is helping students improve their English skills. Whether it's preparing for exams like the EOI or Cambridge, or supporting younger students with grammar, phonics, and conversation, I adapt my classes to meet their specific needs. I have a lot of effective teaching techniques that make learning English fun and engaging.
