Hello!
I am a qualified and experienced English teacher. My name is Rachel. I have experience in teaching in English academies for years (in small groups and also individually) at different levels. I prepare students to pass official exams such as (First Certificate, Advanced, P.E.T) and this is something I am still doing now. I also prepare students to pass job interviews. There are lessons which are just focus on speaking activities for the students, in order to help them to become more fluent when speaking English and improve their English vocabulary at the same time.
I have also worked in a company as a translator: (translating texts from Spanish into English and viceversa) so I can help students who have a very basic English level if they have problems to understand some words in English, or need a translation for work.
Although the lessons are mainly focus on speaking activities, I combine this with a bit of grammar when necessary in order to help the students not to make the same grammar mistakes. This also depends on the student´s needs, and I usually give some homework , because is a good way for the students to revise what they have done in the class.
The material is very interesting (readings about different topics, interesting photos to talk about, useful vocabulary and useful English expressions, proverbs, phrasal verbs...
