I normally suggest a conversation to my students or ask them for some question about a topic. Then I correct the possible mistakes and explain the right grammar and ask to do some exercises regarding it. If the student has got a low level, I will teach basic grammar every day and we will practice with lots of exercises because grammar is very important to write and speak a new language.
