Ryan Rodriguez

Hello,

My name is Ryan, and I am a citizen of the United States. Currently, I am residing in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where I work as an English teacher. I have been teaching for the past five years, and I am currently a homeroom teacher for kindergarten students at an international private school.

I am a graduate of the City University of New York, where I obtained my bachelor's degree in Recreation Education in 2019, with a specialization in teaching English as a second language. Additionally, I have completed a 150-hour master course TELF in 2019, and I have also completed the International Baccalaureate program for primary year program in 2024, with one year of teaching experience in this program.

After completing the TELF course, I moved to Spain to intern at a primary school, where I gained my first hands-on experience in the classroom. It was a new but exciting experience for me, and I learned a lot about classroom management, which has helped me be a better teacher.

Teaching English is my passion, and I believe that it fosters intercultural connections and promotes inclusivity. I feel privileged to be able to connect with students from different backgrounds and help them improve their English skills.

When I am not teaching, I love to indulge in my hobbies, which include traveling around the world and learning about other cultures, reading mystery books, and listening to music to get inspired. These activities help me connect with my inner self and recharge my batteries.
