Hi there.
My name is Sergio, I come from Spain but I have moved around for a while.
I love learning and teaching languages. Over the years I've found out the every language has it own tricks and hidden twists.
I've discovered a lot of them in my native language, Spanish, while trying to explain some nuances to a foreigner.
I also love to learn by comparison, finding all the things that apparently-very-different languages have in common. All the similarities, the rules, the exceptions, and of course, the "dangerous false friends".
As a self-taught student, I believe that there are many ways of learning, and each person has to find its own. A little theory might be needed, but a lot of practice will take you much further.
Conversations from the very beginning are important. Start with "I have a white little cat" and slowly move to "the resolution of a conflict might be found on the very source of it".
Give yourself time to learn and evolve, but be constant, be serious, put the effort and you will have results. And if you have fun while doing that, hey!...that's an extra no one can say no to!
So, if you've just move to Spain or are planning to. Or if you just want to learn Spanish, or you already know some but want to get better at it, I will adjust to your level and make you reach your goal.
Come alone, in pairs or maybe a small group (3-4 people at a time is best).
If you want to know more, contact me!
Cheers!
