A native English language teacher of over 15 years experience, specialising in Business English. Before teaching, I worked in public relations, marketing, events, and hospitality in the UK, so I have plenty of personal experience to make my lessons relevant to your business or personal interests. During our first meeting, for which there is no charge, we will do an in-depth personal analysis of your needs and wants so that I can prepare the lessons that will meet your requirements.
Apart from my ESL / TESOL Certificate, I keep my fresh and up to date by regularly attending webinars and in-person refresher courses.
While I don´t particularly specialise in pronunciation, it is an especially important part of my lessons – from learning Spanish I know how frustrating it is when you know you are using the right word, but nobody understands you due to your pronunciation!
Everybody learns in different ways and at different speeds – some may be visual; some may be auditory, and some may best learn by doing – like riding a bike. However, most people are a mixture of learning styles, and the lessons will reflect that.
My aim is to improve and polish your English particularly in the field of business so that you can communicate effectively and easily in English with colleagues and clients – in negotiations, written and spoken communications and giving presentations.
