- My name is Stephanie Lima and I am a qualified CELTA teacher with more than 7 years of experience in the ESL field.

- I am bilingual CELTA teacher.

- I have two postgraduate courses, the first one in Foreign Language Education and the second one in Learning Difficulties.

- I have more than 9 years of experience teaching a wide range of levels and ages.

- I have taught English to Spanish speakers and expats from all over the world.

- I am a collaborative and student-centred teacher. My lessons are focused on research-based practices such as Whole Brain Teaching and Film Literacy.

- My aim is to keep on learning and growing as an educator, content designer and motivator.

I finished my master course in FLE Foreign Language  Education at Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona in Spain . The aim of the master is to train primary and secondary teachers in different aspects of the English language. In this course I gained experience and knowledge to work as an English teacher at primary and secondary schools respectively. Before completing this master course, I had obtained two more postgraduate certificates, one of them was focused on working with children with learning difficulties and the previous one teaching English through integrated learning (CLIL). I have a strong background in pedagogy, education and social science as I did the bachelor degree in Social Communication in my home country, Uruguay. Besides, I have been attending teacher refresher courses focused on primary education and language in order   to improve my teaching skills.    
Since the year 2014 until today I have worked as a primary English teacher delivering classes to different levels, from nursery to 5th grade. In this time working I have gained skills in education, leadership and problem-solving matters. I can describe my years as a children educator as an enthralling experience that has tested my creativity, imagination, and patience beyond the levels of my imagination.

Despite being aware that working motivation in a classroom is hard work , the reward I got from  looking at their beaming smiles has always left me in awe. Time has proven that these little ones are so much more unconditional than I am, always have been, much wiser and less  selfish than I am, always have been, much more fun and creative than I am, always have been. It is unbelievable, when I first decided for this job I thought that it was a challenge,and it has been the best one I have ever taken.
