Hi everyone!
I am a native Spanish teacher who has lived in Dublin for nearly 3 years- At the moment, I am working in a secondary school as the main Spanish teacher and running the department on my own. This is my second academic year in the position and despite of my short experience, I am doing a good job with all my student and definitely love it, I am always trying to offer the best supports and resources to each of my students.
The way I like to structure my weekly classes depends on the goals which my students are hoping to achieve. In general, I always like to work on all the ares which form a language: grammar, listening, speaking, reading and writing. I usually decide which area we want to work on first and then look for exercises according to them. Appart from it, I always like to interact with my students and get to know them.
In respect of resources, I like to mix new technologies with traditional teaching methods, but this is also something that needs to be agreed according to the necessities and interests of each student.
I hope you have found this summary interesting and do not hesitate to send me a message if you have any further question, I am looking forward to hearing from you!
From your next Spanish teacher ;)
Tania
