Responsible for assisting in the development of Spanish students’ vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and American cultural proficiency.

IICONN is a statewide nonprofit human services agency that provides services to new immigrants and refugees in Connecticut to help them become self-sufficient, integrated and contributing members of the community.
Researched country reports, financial and medical histories of clients, and wrote affidavits on their behalf to strengthen applications to Immigration Services (USCIS). Most applications pertained to cases of deportation and victims of domestic abuse or assault. Wrote letters and coordinated information with our clients and USCIS in both English and Spanish. Also translated USCIS applications into Spanish.
