¡Hi! My name is Santi. I am a native Spanish teacher certificated by the University of Barcelona, Instituto Cervantes and International House with more than 5 years of experience teaching Spanish whether face-to-face ( individual lessons, and in different languages schools ) or online to students from many different ages, levels and nationalities among which are, North American, Chinese, Japanese, Norwegian, Korean, Taiwanese, Egyptian, French, Belgium, German, English, Brasilian, Indian, Ukrainian, Russian, Italian, Filipino and many more.

I can help you improve your Spanish in any area, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and listening comprehension all that through the Communicative Method, it is to say, through Conversation practice (Oral interaction) and always trying to do it in an enjoyable and motivating way.

In Addition, I help my students to pass the DELE Certificate in Spanish from level A1 to C1.

I deeply believe that having a natural and spontaneous conversation with native speakers is the best way to learn and become fluent in a language on top of that if we consider that this person is an expert teaching Spanish and knows how to guide your learning process the result can just be positive.

Santi is a great teacher. I had tried online Spanish classes in the past, but I had never found a teacher I felt comfortable with. Santi speaks English as well, so he is an ideal teacher for English speakers because he understands some of the most common mistakes and difficulties English speaking people face when learning Spanish. He was always flexible, even when I had to cancel at the last minute. He always adapted each class to my interests and to the reasons I wanted to improve my Spanish (I needed to do it for work), and each class was so interesting and fun that I never felt like I was doing any work at all. In a few months, I have improved so much that I have been able to find a job in Latin America! I would definitely recommend him to other students, and I myself will take classes with him again in the future, if I'll need to further improve my Spanish or to prepare for the DELE exams.

I started taking classes with Santi a few months ago, and I couldn't be any happier with my choice of private teacher. His classes are incredibly well organized and set up in a personalized manner. It's easily noticeable that he has a lot of pedagogical experience, by the way he prepares and teaches the classes. Personally, I had a need to practice speaking Spanish, something he's always made me feel comfortable with, and helped me improve a lot. The conversations are always fun and interesting, and the homework is holistically combined with other aspects of language learning, like interpretive and written tasks. I'm very impressed by his ability to answer practically any question about the language, and his creative and engaging ways of explaining. Highly recommendable! Thank you for the great classes!

Tuve unas clases de Santi, me gustó tanto que quería estudiar más con él. Santi nos enseña con mucha pasión que podía notarlo. Además enseña con muchas expresiones coloquiales que así podía aprender español real!!
