Resume of Somnath Chaudhuri for the position of Private teacher

I am Somnath Chaudhuri, completed my Ph.D. in Spatial Statistics from the University of Girona, Spain under the Spanish Government and University Scholarship. I have a master’s in computer science and engineering from the University of Calcutta, India. My second Masters in Geospatial Technology is under the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Program (European Commission) jointly from three Universities of Spain, Portugal, and Germany.
I have over seven years of experience in teaching and research in the field of Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics and Statistics in countries like India, Bhutan, Maldives and Spain. During my tenure, I have taught various courses including Data Structure and Algorithm, Machine Learning theories, Basic Statistics and Application Statistics and Programming languages like C, Python and R. I am specialized in spatial statistics and spatiotemporal modeling techniques. I have also published some research papers in international journals and have presented my work at various conferences. I am also an advanced level Geospatial statistics analyst in using ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and QGIS tools.
In my teaching, I emphasize interactive and engaging approaches to promote student learning and understanding. I believe that it is essential to create a supportive learning environment that encourages students to participate and ask questions. Furthermore, I strive to incorporate innovative techniques to enhance students' critical thinking skills and make the subject more interesting. In addition to my teaching experience, I have also served as a mentor to several undergraduate students, providing guidance on research projects and encouraging them to pursue higher studies.
