Spanish lessons with patience and care

Hello! My name is Isabel, and I´ve been teaching languages since 2010. I have worked in the UK, China and Spain with students from all over the world, and I love how my job allows me to meet people from so many backgrounds and origins.

I have a degree in Translation, a PGCE on Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish and French), and a certificate on Spanish teaching from International House Barcelona.

I now focus on teaching Spanish online, mainly adults and retired expats, and I love seeing how my students progress and are able to have simple conversations after just a few weeks.

In my lessons I use some of the best Spanish textbooks available at the moment, which follow the communicative method. This means that we will focus on communication within meaningful contexts, working also on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and culture.

Each student is unique and has different needs and learning styles, so I will plan our lessons according to your interests and difficulties, explaining anything that is unclear until you get it -even if I have to say it in a 100 different ways, I´m very patient!
