Yina Reyes

Hello,

My name is Yina, I'm from Puerto Rico and currently living in Valencia Capital. I have a B.S in Sociology , a master in Social Work and a TESOL certificate for teaching English as second language.

Currently, I'm teaching English classes to children online and focusing on conversational adult classes in Valencia and online. I have worked with Whales English, Vipkid and ItutorABC with the asian market.

My teaching still is relaxed and fun. I focus on prounciation, conversation skills, fluency and comprehension. I believe that when students enjoy the class through games or topics of interest, the learning process is a success. Building a good rapport and trust between my students makes the learning process less stressful. It's also a good way to ensure they are eager to come back to class.

Some of my favorite topics are music, art, books and travel. I like sharing this with my students and also learning from what are their interests and passions to make classes relatable and interesting for them.

With children I do a lot of TPR, games and songs. The older they get we focus on in depth comprehension and their needs to ensure confidence in their skills. If the student requeires it we do a bit of grammar and use it in conversations as well.
