I have experience teaching Spanish abroad, and also teaching English in Spain.
Although memory is really important, for me it never worked very well just to memorise things by heart just forcing my mind to it.
So I found ways to make it more logical and understandable, and in that way it will stay with me.
So I do think, enjoying what we do is really important. Especially if you have many things to do and pressure.
Learning a new language should not be a burden. But do not think you do not need discipline. You definitely do, but we can make ways to do it more enjoyable.
I am a native Spanish from Barcelona, Spain. I have travelled around the world and met different cultures, teaching languages it gives me joy!
