Welcome! I am an experienced English teacher with a Pedagogy degree certified by The Ministry of Education in Spain. In addition, I have completed specialized certificates to enhance my teaching expertise.
I have taught English for the past five years, both online and at Yumi Private Academy, International English School Alcoy (ILSA), and British Time in the Alicante province. I also have seven years of experience teaching primary school. Alongside my pedagogical degree, I hold certificates in Teaching English Online and One to One, Teaching English to Young Learners, Teaching English Grammar, Speaking, Writing and Reading and motivating learners (from the British Council), and Certificate CELTA Lesson Planning Made Easy. These certificates reflect my commitment to professional development and delivering high-quality instruction.
In my teaching, I prioritize helping students speak and communicate effectively. I create a friendly environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves without worrying too much about making mistakes. I make grammar interesting by connecting it to real-life situations rather than simply doing exercises. We use digital books and fun games to encourage active participation and sometimes even friendly competition. Visual aids such as pictures are also utilized to assist students, particularly those at a lower English proficiency level.
To ensure that our lessons are engaging and tailored to your needs and interests, I incorporate various interactive tools and activities. For both children and adults, we can integrate board games like Battleships, checkers, dominoes, and tic-tac-toe, adding an element of friendly competition. I also utilize interactive tools such as PowerPoint games, Wordwall, Kahoot, and more. Learning is meant to be enjoyable!
Reading is an integral part of our lessons as it helps improve vocabulary and reinforces previous learning. I encourage students to engage in discussions, storytelling, self-correction, and peer correction. This approach promotes active engagement, critical thinking, and a friendly learning environment.
