Ben Balog

Dear Students, Parents, Adults and Grandparents,

Welcome to my homepage. My name is Bence Balogh, but everyone calls me Ben. I spend most of my life in IT and English, which is why I chose to teach. I believe that everyone can be most successful in what they are truly enthusiastic about.

As a graduate engineer, I have more than 6 years of professional experience in many areas of IT, such as networking, security and system management. I also gained my diploma in 2017 from Infomation Technology as a certified System Administrator. Informatics is a multidisciplinary field that combines elements of computer science, data analysis, and information management.

Beside this, I have been speaking English since I was a child, so it is an essential part of my life. English is a must for global communication and also important in career and business field, beside of the education. I believe in life long learning, that is one of the reasons why I have started to teach.

I spend my free time with my family. I like to do sports, especially cycling and running, but on gloomy days my favourite pastime is reading and of course watching series in English. Few of my favourite series are Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and Westworld. During summer I like going on excursions or travelling. I have been in Italy where I tasted the traditional lasagna, I have tried fish and chips in England and I also travelled to Prague to explore the historical city.
