¡Hola! My name is Irene García, I am Spanish and I’ve been a language teacher for the last 15 years, both in schools and online. I studied a masters degree on Teaching Spanish as a foreign language and then worked in France, India, Germany, Russia and Spain with very different students (adults, mostly) wanting very different things (travel to Spain or South America, pass an exam like DELE or in the university, learn general Spanish, improve their speaking skills…you name it!). I use a variety of material (textbooks, PDF, videos, audio…) depending on the goals of the students and their personal interests. I understand that every student is different and need different materials and/or approaches.
I understand language learning as a process where motivation and feeling safe and comfortable is essential as well as having fun! So let me know about you.
