John has the gift of being able to reach students effectively and empathetically. He is a very competent professional who I respect a lot and highly recommend. I have already recommended John to many people I know and their response has been superb. Today, there are many people on social media who claim to teach a language, but being a native speaker is not enough. To be an effective teacher, you need the right preparation and need to know how to transfer it to those who have to learn - and John does it very well.

O John é muito atencioso e paciente, ele ajuda nos problemas específicos que tenho tanto na escrita quanto na conversação, evitando perda de tempo com conteúdo já conhecido, o que é ótimo para alunos, como eu, que já tenham conhecimento inicial da língua mas ainda não estão satisfeitos com ao desempenho. Ele tem bom conhecimento da língua e tem sua própria didática de ensino. Como um professor nativo ele pode ensinar várias expressões e gírias, que precisamos usar no dia a dia. John is very attentive and patient, he helps me with my specific problems in writing and in conversation, avoiding wasting time with subjects already known, which is great for students, like me, who already have initial knowledge of the language but still are not satisfied with the performance. He has good knowledge of the language and has his own teaching didactics. As a native he can teach a lot of expression and slang, we need to use on a daily basis.

Each lesson is done according to your needs. I learnt a lot in each one of them. Totally recommend it.

John is the BEST. He is really kind and the classes are so fun and relaxed. He has given me SO much more confidence at work. My boss is British so I need to report to him in English every day.
