I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt morally obligated to write a review about Francisco Javier. He embodies what we all have heard about a good teacher. He is patient, clear with instruction, passionate about his work, connected, and a fantastic cellist. I highly recommend him to all students of different ages. Besides being an excellent teacher, he is also genuinely a kind and caring human being, which makes the experience of learning from him very enjoyable. He explained the body of the cello, notes, and the relationship with the cello in a way that inspires me to practice more and invest more mental energy in this journey. It’s not easy to learn music in adult life, but with a good teacher like Javier, it is a transformative experience.
