Hello my name is Stephen - Hola me llamo es Stephen!

I am a native English speaker and have been working in high schools and Young people services for the last 15 yrs with my main aim of building pupil confidence and self esteem; to raise attainment.

For the last 5 years and around covid lock downs; my other responsibilities have been supporting BGE pupils (Basic General Education) which is Maths, English and Science in small groups and one-to-one with students. For the last two years I have also been teaching English to Spanish pupils in Madrid bringing average scores from 6.5 up to regular 9.5-10 scores since working with me.

I have a proven track record for preparing students of all ages in schools, organisations and privately to excel in examinations,  presentations, negotiations, selling, marketing, attend meetings or go on business trips in the UK, Spain and across Europe.

I also teach Business English and unlike most teachers I hold an abundance of Business experience working with leading blue chip companies teaching Sales Techniques, Customer Service and business terminology.

I have a friendly and effective teaching methodology building not just knowledge, but the confidence, self esteem and problem solving to excel in school, university, life and the workforce today.

My aim is to maximise the potential of every individual I have the pleasure of teaching, be it for one lesson or several months of coaching.
